I had this idea I wanted to try since last Christmas and finally found a couple of hours to take a stab at it. They came out pretty good and are perfect if you only have a couple of hours and want to make a nice hand made Christmas something as a gift. Im going to make a bunch more for gifts next year :).

In case anyone wants to give it a try I posted everything I did and a supply list on my blog at www.toadusew.com/blog (posted under 17 Dec 2010)

Thanx for all the great comments! Have some great news for everyone who liked the trees and wants to make them....

I talked with my little elf at Robert Kaufman this afternoon and they loved the project so much that they have agreed to sponsor a give away of some striped artisan batiks

As soon as I know the details I'll give a tweet (follow toadusew on twitter) and post to http://www.toadusew.com/blog

Kitsie 12-17-2010 11:19 PM
