I'm a proud owner of a 1952 featherweight. I bought her on ebay. I took her to my "sewing machine dealer" to check her out. He tested her and lubed her up, he said I made a good purchase. I just wanted to share with everyone. I'm having fun piecing with her.

does anyone know the year they started making buttonholers for these machines. Mine does not have one
|

Beautiful machine! Does she have a name yet? :-)

Berta, I just showed mine too!! I'm having so much fun piecing on mine. Her name is Miss Kitty b/c she purrs :D
Have fun!!! Linda, I'm a bit confused about my machine. It has an AH serial number which dates it to 1948 but the faceplate is the newer one. I'm wondering if it got switched. I don't know when the buttonholers started. I need to do some research. |
Congratulations on your new "baby"!!! I'm glad that you were able to find a good one.
It was nice meeting you at the Long Beach show. Maybe next time we will get to visit a little more!!! |
