The Best Craftsy Class
 

After two years of not quilting I went back to my sewing room and finally finished my 2016 BOM quilt. I have to say it was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken on Craftsy. So many techniques she teaches, pinwheels, flying geese, appliqué, etc. some of which I’ve never tried. Not to mention I love the way it came out. Im adding another border so it fits my bed, this one is for me!

I saved that class and just went back to look at it! I was not crazy about her fabric choices. What a difference different colors and fabrics make. Again, I love yours!

Beautiful quilt. I, at one time joined a quilting class that I went to every Saturday with two friends. I really enjoyed going but, after a few different classes, the dropped out. All the instructions were given a week before each class, including what colors the instructor wanted you to bring. Not the colors you wanted, in order to match (lets say) a room in your home.

Oh my gosh that is beautiful. I am so glad to know you got back to your quilt. I too have been off for two years and thought I needed to get back on here and get some inspiration and see if I can start in again. I have been off before for like 6 months but never two years. I have so many projects just waiting for me to get back to them. You give me hope! Congrats on your finish.

Lynette Jensen's original fabric choices really appealed to me. On the class projects page, there are photos that showcase the quilts of people who have taken this class. Your color choices are among the best when I compare it to those photos. Great job! What did you find the most difficult about making this quilt?
