She is going to be here in Maine for a retreat in Oct. I wanted to go so badly; but hubby has been out of work all year for health reasons. Not sure the chance will come my way again; but guess it wasn't meant to be. Glad for you who are getting the chance to meet her. She looks like such a happy gal. 3 nights with her even!!

Oh, lucky you! She's my idol. I've checked a few times to see if she's anywhere close, but no luck so far. The few times she's been within a day's drive, it wasn't open to anyone except the guild. I keep trying, though.
Thanks for sharing, and for the pics! |

Congrats on a wonderful day out with your friend.

What a thrilling day for you two! I have completed one of hers from just leaders and enders already (Irish chain) and am half way through my second - lightning bolt. What fun!

[quote=luvTooQuilt]Sally and I decided to take a trip.. but not just any ole trip. WE were headed to Winfield Kansas..
Winfield Kansas! Wow! Last time I was there was about 45 years ago visiting my Father's mom! All I really remember is corn fields, outside storm/sellar door, and lots of stars at night! |
