Beth borrowed my Kim Schaffer book ( I can't remember the name off the top of my head right now) and a pile of scraps from my scrap bin and made this quilt...isn't it adorable?
and she also made me 20 blocks for letting her use my supplies...That is icing! YAY! I just needed to go in and sew the appliques down on my long arm and I just kind of embellished where I could...a completely FUN quilt! We used HObbs poly down batting. I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA. Thanks for looking. |
Wow - that's pretty!

Gorgeous colors, beautiful appliqué, and EXQUISITE quilting! Love what you've done both in the blocks and the border. Pure genius.
The flowers are beautiful and I also love your quilting! Yes, it is a gorgeous quilt!
So cute!
Boy you gals are both tops in my book how cute is the quilt itself and bright and happy, then doing all those turns and whirls to quilt it. Way to go gals. (I wish the Jaguars would do some of that) Cinn is 16 and we the Jags 13 ugh
Beautiful!! A good deal for both of you.
Cute!
fabulous
Oh my gosh, I just adore this! It is full of whimsy and fun. What a blast you must have had quilting it.
Is it all raw edge fusible applique so all that is going to keep those appliques in place (besides the fusing) is the quilting you did? If so, I want to try this. I have never been a big fan of fusible because I find it so stiff but I understand there are some much lighter weights out there now that aren't so stiff so I may just give it a whirl again. |
Gorgeous!
How cute. I don't see how you get so much done with your school work and large family.
Goregeous!!!

You amaze me...
that is one pretty cheerful quilt. Makes you smile just looking at it! - oops went to have a second look - love the ladybug in the corner! :P
I love it!! The big flowers are so "friendly". I love how you quilted around them & the sashing & borders are fantastic.
