It was supposed to be Trip Around the World, but I made a mistake - obviously. However, my husband loves it as it is. I'm not quite done with it yet - still have to figure out how to get the border pattern onto the border and do that. I think I'm going to do a fairly simple pattern.
I did it all on my 1976 Singer Futura II Model 920 machine. A workhorse that is still going along! The cross hatching is using a stitch that looks kind of like turkey tracks. When it's totally done, I'll post another picture. |

I love it as it is. Years ago I heard the saying for needlework: If you make a mistake consistantly, you just have a new pattern.
