Very beautiful quilt for your mom. Trust me, she will cherish it forever! I just made mine one and she loves it so much. It will also make you feel good to know it is so appreciated. Nothing like moms!

It is the biggest quilt I've made so far: 58x78. It wasn't planned that big, it just grew in the process,lol. I loved strip piecing this quilt, it went together fast..can't say the same about quilting it though, although I did enjoy using the variegated thread for quilting for the first time. It is a surprise, she has no clue that I am making a quilt for her, and she is coming over this year for Christmas, I can't wait for her to get it.
