Birdsong, a stack and whack for my Easter decor
4 Attachment(s)
Here's my latest stack and whack, I only had a couple of yards of the main fabric, but it was enough to make a 36 x 36 wall hanging and table runner, which I think will look great with my Blue Calico dishes. And I still have 16 of the little 4-patch squares which I'm planning to use as the center of some scrappy churn dash blocks.
Another member posted a picture of this same fabric quite some time ago. She was asking if it would make a good SNW. I told her that I had the same fabric in my stash and planned to make a SNW and would let her know when that finally happened. Don't you know that I can't find that thread anywhere I hope she see's this one. |
Oh it's gorgeous, and I can see your dishes with this being so nice. Great job!

Beautifully done! I never would think that fabric would make such a gorgeous s&W. I love your setting too. The secondary star pattern formed is fabulous as is your hook feather quilting in that space. The matching table runner is also stunning.

How beautiful.

You did an excellent job with the quilt and the selection of the fabric. It is all beautiful. My STW lap size was hand quited which I think would have been more highlighted if it had been machine quilted. I'm sure whatever pattern you choose it will only enhance it more. Continue on your journey.

Love it!! Will make me look at fabric differently. Very inspiring.

That's a perfect fabric for your wallhanging ! Beautiful fabric, would love to try a stack n whack ! I'm assuming the name of the collection is Birdsong. May I ask, did you buy the fabric recently and is the fabric Moda, Windham, RJR, Hoffman or which manufacturer ??? thanks *

How beautiful! What SNW pattern/instructions did you use? I loved the one SNW I've done, but it used different FQ's so was very different.
