Bits & Pieces

Just finished a scrappy. All scraps; only purchased fabric for borders and backing. Didn't make a dent in my scraps so I still have plenty to play with! Pattern is "Endless Possibilities" from Fons & Porter's Scrap Quilts mag summer 2012 issue. It was fun to do. Practiced free motion quilting on my little Singer. Thanks for looking. Happy quilting!

oops, trouble posting pics

This is a sweet quilt and made with scraps. You inspire me to get started on my scrap pile. Pics are great!

Teddybear Lady 02-15-2013 09:06 PM

Makes me want to go get out my scraps and sew. After I get over this flu, maybe I'll be inspired. Thanks for the picture.

DebraK 02-15-2013 09:16 PM

Fantastic use of scraps!

sharoney 02-16-2013 07:18 AM

Love this! I love love love scrappies! I made a homemade rule this year that every other quilt I make has to be a scrappy to try to reduce my scrappy stash.

Beautifully done!

Emma S 02-17-2013 06:34 AM

Love scrappys and yours is outstanding. The borders tie the scraps together so well. As others have said, I really don't understand how you can make a bed size quilt top and still have as many scraps as you started with. Something
to do with conservation of matter?

stitchngo 02-17-2013 06:36 AM

Very nice way to use scraps...such a beautiful and happy quilt! Does it make you think about all the different quilts that you made that have bits and pieces in your quilt? I love it!

dsews2 02-17-2013 06:57 AM

Your quilt is beautiful and very nice fmq......i fmq but nothing like yours......i also love the colors

Wanabee Quiltin 02-17-2013 07:06 AM

Oh, I love this quilt. I have this book too and have decided I need to make one of these quilts. I have some charm squares in the most beautiful batiks that would really make this pattern shine. You did such a good job on the FMQ too.
