Bittersweet Briar Wall Hanging
 

I first saw this quilt in Connecting Threads Mag. Loved it! I was going to enter it into our local quilt show, but it was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. Instead of stippling I quilted swirls. It was really fun to make.

We were without power for 6 days, and I count myself lucky! Sandy leveled so many places on Long Island. :-(

A beautiful wall hanging. Hope every thing is improving in NY/ NJ area since the storm. I'm in Pa And there are still convoys of E-trucks roaming our area. I ca't imagine what everyone is going through.

There will be other shows to look forward to and this beauty should do well.

Things are coming along slowly for many. So much to do for those who lost everything. I Thank God for all my blessings. As for the quilt.... it goes on my wall until next year! :)
