I think that a great decision. Looks much better.

much better. i've done that too, but not such a big project.

One time I spilled some bleach on a pair of black pants. Used my black sharpie and no-one could tell ! Smart move for you.
|
I am so glad that you shared your wonderful idea with all of us, as I have done the very same thing & haven't been disappointed once. It's a great idea.
:D :D :D :D |
great idea!!!!

Yep, I've done this too even with a red marker and it did the trick. Looks so much better than seeing those light threads. Shhhhh, we won't tell anyone if you won't?
|
I have actually used my Sharpies to color in bleach marks on clothes.
|
Well I haven't tried sharpies yet, but maybe there will come a time. I have used my blue pigma pen though when using a variegated blue thread for hand quilting & standing back...all I could see were the light areas of the thread.... out came the pen & my wall hanging is so much more enjoyable... no little flicks of light/dark here and there.

sometimes when i need other colors i even use color crayons [just remember to iron them ]
