Black and White Wonky Quilt
3 Attachment(s)
I made this for my niece who just graduated from high school! I wanted to do something rather modern and fun; without knowing what colors she likes, I used my stash of black and white fabrics to create this quilt. And her name on the back makes the quilt reversable, if she likes.
I used a tutorial found here: http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/2...vin-on-up.html It was a quick and easy assembly. I quilted it on my Juki using my walking foot to create some straight line patterns. |
I love it, and I think your niece would love it too.

Where did you get the templates to do her name? |

Julie,
I have a Juki also...what thread do you use to do your quilting? I'm still practicing FMQ and have lately had some issues with the bobbin thread on the back. Didn't have this before. Know this is usually a tension issue and wonder if it is the thread I am using now. Oh me, don't know if I'll ever get a whole regular size quilt done in FMQ. Sure have done a bunch of practicing though. LOL Brenda |
Love it! It is so fun and spontaneous looking but modern and chic too.
