Blizzard 2013 Quilt Top
1 Attachment(s)
My husband and I have been snowed in since Friday. We hope to be plowed out by tomorrow because he needs to go to dialysis. In the meantime, I've been sewing. This pattern is "Postage Due". Great pattern and easy to do. I will add to my stack of tops to be quilted. Thanks for looking!

Pretty u must been one of the lucky ones that didn't lose power.U had plenty heat, food, someone was watching over u all. Prays r with those that do not have power.
Love it! - if it weren't for all the inconvenience isn't kind of nice not to feel a little guilty for deserting everyone to retire to your sewing machine?? I kind of look forward to the crummy days so I don't have to feel bad for leaving my DH and the dogs to their own devices for hours on end:-) It must be noted that it doesn't stop me from doing it though - lol:-)
nicely done

Very pretty!! It does pay to get snowed in once in a while doesn't it.

What you can accomplish when it snows. This may be the only good thing about snow! I like your postage due!

The east coast has been in my prayers. I used to live in New London. Can not imagine that much snow. Hope the electricity is on for you. Take care, your quilt is beautiful!
Awesome...
Great quilt! I feel really bad for everyone out east. And here in Minnesota, we've hardly had any snow this year. I sure hope your husband was able to get out for his appointment.
Nice to have the block of big time. Lovely quilt. I think the simpler the better.

I know you have been sewing up a storm to keep the thoughts of "what if" out of your mind. Isn't it wonderful to have something to do while you wait?!?!?! |
Isn't it great that you have something so nice to do when snowed in.
I hope that you are no longer snowbound and that hubby got to his appointment! The quilt is lovely and whata great project to keep you busy with such inclement weather!
