There were 9 of us who exchanged blocks and I added 3 more blocks to make it larger in size (and I wanted to use more of the different fabrics in the collection). I also agree, those aren't my colors either, but it sure turned out to be a very pretty quilt.

Your quilt is beautiful! And the quilting is too. I'm wondering if the quilter used a panto and if so would she share the name of it with me? I have been looking for a feather panto and I haven't found one that I like yet. Thanks

Yes, she used a panto - I will ask her and get back to you.

Thank you so much. I took another look at your quilt and the piano key border really does tie it all together. Good idea you had!

Sue, I just heard from my friend who quilted this for me and the panto she used is called 'Plumage' by Willow Leaf Studios. I think it looks really nice on this quilt.

Donna Mare 12-24-2010 09:43 AM

It is fantastic!!

Ellie377073 12-24-2010 09:48 AM

Beautiful, lovely colors! Thank you for sharing!

JCL in FL 12-24-2010 07:14 PM

I like it also. Sashing and borders have a way of tying things that may appear not to go together, together. Great quilt.
