Our quilt guild did a block exchange using a grouping of fabrics from Connecting Threads called "Bed and Breakfast". At first I didn't think I would like the finished quilt as the colors were not the ones I usually like; but, when the quilt was finished I really liked it. There were 9 of us who exchanged blocks and I added 3 more blocks to make it larger in size (and I wanted to use more of the different fabrics in the collection). I figured by adding the piano key border with all the colors it would tie all the blocks together. I think it came out nice and my friend Amy did a great job quilting it.

Very cute. I love the fabrics. The piano boarder really sets it off. Did you quilt it? Nice job.

My friend is a long arm quilter and she quilted it for me in a feather pattern which really looks nice.
