Very very nice! A lot of work and so nicely done!

Mariposa 05-20-2012 09:06 AM

Sew very pretty! Both of you have done an outstanding job! :)

wesing 05-20-2012 09:26 AM

Great job on fabric selection - your quilt looks great. B9P is on our list, but it may be a while before we get to start on one.

Outstanding keep up the good work!

It's absolutely stunning!
I'm quite attracted to these B9Ps and know it will be a future project for me.

Grandma Bonnie 05-20-2012 09:40 AM

Wow! Love everything about it. The color, the detail in the border is awesome and the choice for quilting pattern and thread color. All brings this wonderful top to life.
peace

Absolutely amazing! With all those small pieces, it puts me in mind of a postage stamp quilt. I love your beautiful color choices and pattern. This had to be a labor of love. Thanks for sharing.

DebraK 05-20-2012 10:50 AM

I love these. The quilting is nice too.

jcrow 05-20-2012 11:07 AM

My LQS has about 4 of these on display. Yours is very pretty, by the way. What is a B9P? I think 9P means 9 patch, but I'm not sure. This looks like it was hard to make...getting the colors to slowly change. A lot of work, I think.

fred singer 05-20-2012 11:12 AM

great job you finished it up

Schoom 05-20-2012 11:19 AM

Thank you all so much. It was a labor of love that took 3 months, with no regard for anything else going on around me:) B9p = Blooming 9 Patch.

Now, on to the next project, hopefully a little bit quicker.

mollymct 05-20-2012 11:24 AM

I love the way this quilt looks. You must have used very small squares. The quilting is lovely also, I love the blue thread and the flowers.

debcavan 05-20-2012 03:37 PM

The quilting sure follows the name . I love the design of this quilt and am always amazed at the beauty and especially the ability to find the fabrics that blend so beautifully.

Gorgeous! A bed of flowers! Welcome to the QB from Xenia Ohio! Can't wait to see more of your quilts!

snipforfun 05-20-2012 07:48 PM

This is one of those quilts that look difficult to make but instead it is really easy the way that Blanche Young does it with strips. One of my favorite patterns and favorite book. Traditions With A Twist. Still a best seller.

Grandma Peg 05-20-2012 08:03 PM

Very pretty quilt and quilting. A dear friend made this pattern but she didn't call it Blooming 9 patch. lol

sewmom 05-22-2012 04:37 AM

I always thought that a B9P was another name for the D9P. Boy was i wrong! This is totally different and totally awesome! More like a watercolor quilt. Love it! The quilting is perfect for this quilt. Great job!

tildiemae 05-22-2012 05:18 AM

Very pretty and it looks like it would have been a challenging pattern. I like your choices of colors too.

quilter56 05-22-2012 05:23 AM

This is great, I have been wanting to do one of these for a couple of years.
