When I found the blooming 9 patch, I knew I wanted to do something in lilac prints. I miss lilacs something fierce!!! And I'm really pleased with the final product. This one is all for me!! This one is big (118 x100) so I had to take a picture at my LQS.

Did you put a batik in there, too? It looks like one that I have -- and it really fits into the theme of lilacs!

Beautiful quilt Gai, luscious fabrics - can even smell the perfume off that deep purple!
Lilacs are my favourite too - I love all the different shades, and esp the white ones. Even have a lilac quilt on the guest bed. |

That is an absolute beauty Gai. And huge too! I love it and lilacs. We had a really dark purple one in the garden in France and there are a few here, growing in one of our hedges but I don't know what colour they are as they'd flowered by the time we came. Come over in a few weeks and have a good sniff! :D :D :D

I'd keep it too, if it was mine! So pretty & amazing color.BTW.we do have lilacs near the house & I look forward to picking a bouquet.

STUNNING! I have a lot of that fabrcin in my stash too - how neat to see what you've done with it! Isn't it cool when you see possibilities that you'd never even thought of from other quilters? That is what is so awesome about forums like this!
