How cool the quilt is! I just know she will love it. Too bad about your machine though... what happened?

It's in the box as we speak - heading to the old country. As for the machine - the bobbin case was broken (that's where the metal fragment came from) and the timing was off (which is why it stopped sewing).

The repair guy just called and I can pick it up tomorrow.
