Beautiful quilt!! I would use varigated on the black -- spider webs would be perfect!!

I think this a very exciting scrap quilt.
Gray thread would show but not be over powering.

The varigated would be pretty on the black portion but grey will be wonderful on it too. I would worry about the spiderwebs themselves with the varigated thread that it would be too busy. My friend used varigated on a scrap quilt and was sorry afterwards. I agreed with her.

How about a light silvery gray thread and make spider web design. Would look good on black
