Bookcase Quilt
 

This was a friendship quilt made with blocks from friends in my guild. I furnished the black background and asked my friends to use it to make something that you would find on a bookcase - I added more blocks to fill in as needed. I think it really came out nice and looks great hanging in my dining room.

That is the nicest bookcase quilt I have ever seen! I never would have thought that pattern would work for a block exchange, but you rocked it! I especially love the dangling tape measure. So realistic! Awesome quilt!

There is a book on bookcase quilts which is what I used to get started - it helped with making the actual case and showing you how to do books leaning, etc - you might want to look for it on Amazon.
