Bookcase Runner Requested by Hubby

My husband requested that I make a runner for the top of the bookcase that he put by my piano. He NEVER asks me to make anything, so I was so glad that he liked what I came up with!

I saw a magazine with Christmas quilt decorating ideas and they put a small square quilt diagonally on the bench. I was going to make one this year, but haven't gotten around to it... |
