Boom8 Ruby Blocks I have made - please check often

This will be a slow thread most likely.
I joined the small Boomerang 8 Ruby group so I have 15 blocks to make. They have to be a 12.5 x 12.5 block using a fat eighth mailed to me from 15 different people. In turn, I mailed them a fat eighth that they will make a block for me and mail it back. Blocks will be added to the thread as I continue to make them. Here's my first block I'm mailing back on Tuesday. Elisabrat mailed the pretty fruity fabric and wanted something girly, country, frilly. Hope this works. |

Travelinggramma sent the red fabric with little flower buds and requested something Americana. What could be more American than Betsy sewing up a flag?

Both blocks look great. The first is very girly as requested and I think of Americana when I see the second one.
|
Fits all three. Very pretty

I love it!!! :)

Doghousemom was our 3rd lucky ruby today...she sent in the cream with branches & leaves on it.
She wanted different size blocks than just 12.5 so she got 2 that are 9.5 each. She was suppose to get a 9.5 and a 3.5 but you know, when you end up with a 3 and then add to it and then get a 6 you have no choice but to keep going, lol. Soooooo that's how she got 2 of the 9.5 blocks. Here's the first one that was suppose to be 9.5 This is the block that just kept growing :) |
very nice block ,I've never done a boomerang Blocks before

Two more to add...
Jaba sent the cream with olive and gold florals. Her only request was "no red". That part I got covered :). . Okdarla had the turquoise with teal leaves. She only wanted black added to it. Think I managed that one too! I'm on a roll. |

Great job. I'm not a fan of pink unless it's combined with green. And you've done a fantastic job.
