Yes, I like the new border better...the colors are much richer.

boohoofish 01-26-2011 05:07 PM

Much, much better! I really like the mottled green. Gave the flowers more life.

stitchofclass2 01-26-2011 05:11 PM

You must be from Colorado. (I was born and raised in Denver.) Your quilt is beautiful as are the columbines, which are one of my very favorite flowers.

Kellie G 01-26-2011 05:32 PM

I prefer the green as well....beautiful job on your quilt.

jnagy1206 01-26-2011 05:35 PM

the green truly compliments your piece :)

jitkaau 01-26-2011 06:30 PM

I like the green as well - nice twist on an attic quilt.

Jingle 01-26-2011 06:46 PM

I like the last border the best. Sure makes a big difference.

nlgh 01-26-2011 07:09 PM

Your change really made the quilt look elegant and not just a so-so quilt.

Maria C 01-26-2011 08:16 PM

You made a great choice. It is amazing how each step changes a quilt so much and it certainly does in this case. I agree that it complements the quilt more with the green border.

moonwolf47 01-26-2011 08:34 PM

Love the green border. Great job!

Minnisewta 01-26-2011 08:36 PM

I think the new boarder looks better but you have it on the brown carpet which I think makes it look good too.

nonnie60 01-26-2011 08:36 PM

green is better.

Karen K. 01-27-2011 06:42 AM

The after pic really makes the columbines stand out and that's what you want. They should be the focal of the quilt and now they are.

IDquilter 01-27-2011 10:50 AM

Yes, the second one, nice job.

kwiltkrazy 01-27-2011 02:15 PM
