Would make a great jacket. You would stand out in the crown. I like bright.

I just bought that book! The fabric used was very similar to this...it created a really subtle design with a lot of depth. Would love to see what you do with it.

Hopefully I will be able to cut a few out, maybe next week after I move into a service apartment. Still busy trying to pack things up, we have to be out of here on Wednesday.

Great price and love the fabric but what does OBW mean?

janiesews 03-26-2011 02:17 PM

Oh that will be a pretty one to see-can't wait.

I'm very curious about how it will look after you start putting the hex's together, could you please post pics as you go. I'm use to looking for material for a stack and whack. That print that you have picked out would not work for the S A W. I want to make a OBW but don't know what to look for as far as fabric.

Is it just me? Does everyone know what OBW means?

kraftykimberly 03-26-2011 09:52 PM

OBW = One Block Wonder

I have done a few SAW and the fabric would work for that,too,why not? That is how I cut these out, stacked my fabric in six layers and cut 3 3/4" and cut out my triangles.
