Love your colors, my favorite color. I too am going to make a mini in the near future.

Too cute! Thanks for the tips, I haven't tried on yet, trying to get the courage up!

After I made my first one I used the cut off material and made a little case for my credit cards to match the purse. I believe the next one I make I am going to use velcro to close the top instead of using the button . I think it will be safer that way.
Another suggestion - wrap your credit cards in tin foil so they cannot be scanned by scammers, so I put tin foil on both sides of by pocket. |
I like that the outside pocket IS so high...everything always goes to the bottom of a pocketbook anyway and it seems whenever I put things in the outside pocket, the inside stuff just makes the things in that pocket work its way out...great job!!!   Naomi

I used heavey weight fusable interfacing. for all the fleece. It seems to be standing up well. I have made 14 mini bow tucks this way.The inner pocket is too long even if it is cut in half. I do mine the width of the purse. Also I use to pieces of plastic canvas for the bottom inside. I cover it with a pillowcase type cover.Tucking in the extra. The canvas is cheap and I get 2 purses done from one piece of canvas.(50cents)They are addictive but fun.Mary

Another idea I used for one of the pockets. I put my cell phone in one pocket and stitched across so the phone stuck out a little, that way it don't sink all the way down to the bottom.
