So I jumped on the bandwagon and made a bow tuck purse this weekend. I have never sewn anything remotely like a purse before, so I was very hesitant because I didn't want it to look "homemade" when I was done. I wanted people to look at it and say "You made that??" and since I had no purse making skills I was worried. But I found the directions to be pretty good, I only got confused on a few things, but was able to work most of them out. The only thing that went wrong was my ties ended up too short, but that's okay I think I like them shorter anyway.
I loved how I could make the pockets fit what I usually carry, I own a nook and a Kindle so I made a pocket big enough to fit one of those and then I made a pocket to fit my camera too. Instead of quilting I added a blue flower bead with an orange seed bead on top. I like the look of it. Enjoy my pics!! Great fabric, and love the bead idea, might have to borrow that one from you.

That turned out great. Love the colors. I guess the Easter Bunny got in your purse and left you some goodies.
