I just did this quick quilt for my nephews Birthday. I really hate panels but I was drawn to this one as it was really cute!! I ended up not having enough fabric for the back so I added a stripe of the border fabric and put the two left over Dogs in it!!

They did not have the strip that matched - so the stripe I used was from SSI "A Cats Meow" - same colors. |

i think panels, especially childrens, are necessary for the stash, you never know when you need to whip a quilt out! saturday morning i had to get one out for my son for a shower. the panel helped a lot! |

Turned out great! Oftentimes a problem becomes a blessing. In this case the back really shines. Love it!
