Well I never pass up a meal....LOL. I sleep every night believe it or not..anywhere from 6-8 hours usually.
Clean house..I have 6 kids who are responsible for a chore each day and their own bedrooms..so I just have to check and organize..other than laundry..which is right next to my sewing area ( conveniant) and my own room. I do meal planning each week so I knw each day what is for dinner and try to prepare in the mornings..so it is ready at dinner time. I try to do my homework ( as a I am a full-time student at WSU) during teh day whiel kids are at school. I quilyt in between things..you woudl be amazed at how much you can accomplish 15 minutes here and there. That pretty much sums up my days..LOL

Your quilting work is beautiful. It just enhances whatever fabric/pattern you are working on.

Just curious, how long does it take you to do a quilt like that?

PurplePassion 02-06-2011 05:40 AM

Mariposa 02-06-2011 07:40 AM

Outstanding by both of you!!

Katrine 02-06-2011 07:48 AM

It's gorgeous Charismah - I love looking at your work, and how you make the effort to "personalise" each quilt you do. And I admire how much hand guided work you do - I think it has so much more character - and it is very inspiring. I quilt on my 6600 (no availability of LAs here, even if I could fit one in & the cost would be astronomical).
I get through reams of paper, and enjoy fmq so much.
Keep the pictures coming!

cyniree 02-06-2011 08:05 AM

Nice work, I have seen a quilt design like this in one of the current quilt magazines. Don't remember which one. But I love the design.

Lynneander 02-06-2011 08:16 AM

You both did a spectacular job on this quilt; love, love, love it!

I need to see your quilt..if this is what you wanted I could...I don't really have a cookie cutter style.

it's uncanny how you seem to match with perfection your quilting style to each top you work with...& make it come alive......
so when's the book coming out?

I have been asked...but I am not sure I can take on any more at this time..and I am not sure I know how to break down things step-by step enough to write a book....I will continue to think about it. I do everything "naturally" I don't think about it terms of how to explain or teach it..if that makes sense.
