I like the top left. I think the bunny colors will really pop.

How about using your white repro prints idea for the bunnies, then save the bright florals for the flowers, and combine the batiks and homespuns for the the butterflies.

I like top left and bottom left; can't you do both? Since you're the one making the quilt, I'd go with what I like. I tend to put off and ultimately not enjoy working on something I don't like. Even though Mom picked out brights, the quilt is from you and that is what's going to make it special to that baby, not the color of the bunnies.

I think the real bunny fabrics will show up the best!!

You choose what speaks to you the best. Hate to say it but my hubby's color choices are just horrific. And, for pure argument's sake, has your hubby never heard of "Blue Bunny Ice Cream".......I rest my case.

I vote Homespun's.This is the type of bunny I made for a baby quilt.

I like them all.

I think bunny batiks-the homespun wont staqnd out enough from the foundation and the brights ARE TOO BRIGHT

jojosnana 07-10-2012 06:08 PM

I think I would make the bunnies in the browns and the flowers and butterfly's in the brighter colors

I really like the bright prints with a few bunny colored batiks added in. I'm afraid the blue in the bright prints will blend into your quilt and be lost. That is a really cute quilt.
