To Everyone that helped me with the problems with this quilt, Thank you! The starching took the waves out of the blocks completly. I Do Believe it turned out pretty good. I am cleaning it now and will mail it off tomorrow.
Almost forgot this is my first Freemotion motif quilting. Slowly I am learning.

Thank you very much.
I quilted on my Domestic Machine,A Kenmore,it is a workhorse. My stitching is not all even and I wobbled a lot. But I know it takes a lot of practise to do it the right way. I love doing the FM. I have a book with the Motifs. I traced them on tracing paper, cut out slits and used graphit pencil to mark. A foot called the bigfoot and just took off.

Thank you Tirnhi, I used your suggestion when I could to use the body color for the wings and viseversa. Some I was unable to but for the most part that is what I did.

I want to thank all of you for your nice words on my quilt. I don't get on this board as much as I want to because I just don't have enough time in a day being a caregiver for my Mother and all the other stuff like house, spouse ETC. SO THANK YOU ALL!!!

Hi Janis, Thank You for your complement. I got the pattern form Better Homes and Gardens... Grandma's Best Full-Size Quilt Blocks.. I love this book. The Butterfly is just one piece of material and you mark the wings then sew them or embroider, I just satin stitch them. I love the effect the satin stitching does.

Hi Ducky, Thank you, yes I did use the machine to satin stitch, I do ok until I have to make a hairpin curve, LOL Sometimes I did it right and others not so neat.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. I want to do some satin stitching on the machine, but I was sort of confused as to those sharp corners. I guess it just takes lots of practice.

Well, it looks just amazing.

Well Ducky thanks Bunches, Actually it really itsn't that hard you just have to go slow sew 2 or 3 stitches turn applique a fraction stitch, turn, and so on. I go over the whole Applique twice. You have to remember to only go slow and sew a couple or 3 stitches depending on what it is,then turn a fraction. Sometimes I got in a hurry and you can't when you are turning like that.
