Butterfly in the Round
1 Attachment(s)
Another Cheryl Phillips pattern.
Making the body piece took more time than making the wing and background pieces. I dislike foundation piecing! This would have looked nicer had I placed the body piece in the correct alignment! My husband looked at it and said it was a victory sign with a cherry on top...totally missed the wings! (Explains why he thinks I'm nice looking) |
OMG - the start of a beautiful piece - is that batiks with gold on it???????? I absolutely love your fabrics.
My goodness what beautiful work and pattern! You're doing a great job. It must be tedious?!
I think it is Beautiful, love the colors but maybe a little more contrast. My sister and her husband have a house in Pahrump.
Ha, ha. Men!! it's lovely. I've not done one yet.
You captured the butterfly fluttering its wings. Beautiful fabrics.
Very pretty.
The wings are Batik with gold lines. The background is more green Batik. The accent is a shiny royal blue.
The process is easy...strip piecing until you create the butterfly body. |
Beautiful!!!!!!
