Butterfly Trellis Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
I saw this quilt pictured here quite awhile ago and fell in love with it. The only thing I did differently was to add the brown narrow border and brown binding. My friend Amy quilted it with a butterfly panto which really looks nice. It will go to my best friend as a surprise Christmas gift - we don't normally give each other gifts so I think she will be very surprised and pleased. She lives in Kansas City (I live in Michigan) so she doesn't get to see my quilts very often. She just moved to a new home where I think this quilt will fit in nicely.

I have some of that fabric. My daughter loves butterflies, so I was thinking of making her a butterfly quilt. You did a wonderful job. It's beautiful! I think the brown border and binding add so much to this quilt. And the backing is terrific.

you hit the jackpot with this one! The neutral surrounding the butterflies made just the right touch, then that added border just brought it all home. This is stunning!

Sorry, I don't remember where I got the butterfly fabric - I have had it for several years.
