Cabins in the Cotton finally done
3 Attachment(s)
What an experience. Used honey buns for the blocks that weren't perfectly cut. Squared up often. Didn't read the entire directions until it was a little late. Rip, Rip. Everything is done freehand on my Janome 6600. Ripped out some and then decided to just go with it. So, get on that galloping horse and ride really fast. LOL.

Wonderful job. Pretty quilt.
It turned out lovely even if it was a pain!
Been there, done that. The end result though is very nice and you can be so proud!
That is a great quilt ... my slow (not galloping) horse and I approve!

Awesome quilt!!

Very pretty and your quilting looks fine. I am quilting one today I feel the sane way about, love the top but quilting not so much. Using new panto and can not seem to do a straight line today. Oh well, I will continue also just get it done. It is for a three year old, she will not even notice.

It's very pretty! I like the white sashing and the little squares and set on point! Nice work!
Very pretty!

Oh my goodness, you definitely had me laughing. I've been there, too, and jumped on that galloping horse. Look at you...didn't fall off. lol great finish!
Very pretty, well done.
Really like it! Don't have a horse so just strolled by and looked closely......and it's beautiful! I love the fabrics you used and the colors....a nice, soft sweet little quilt. Is there a pattern for it? Looks kind of like a log cabin but not quite and I'm too much of a novice to figure it out! The quilting looks fine to me....I should do so well!!
Pretty layout for this quilt. I think you did a great job even when my horse stopped.LOL. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone. The pattern is Cabins in the Cotton by Adkinson Designs.
I love it. Beautiful fabrics, really go well with that pattern.
A very pretty quilt! Great work!

Looks good to me.

Looks great. I like your idea of "filling" the side triangles with a smaller log. I never cared much for those big empty spaces with on point quilts I made. May try this. Thanks for sharing.
A stunning quilt!
Wonderful job
Beautiful !!!!!
Beautiful quilt!!! Love the colors!
Beautiful quilt and great colors.
It looks as if all the blocks are floating above a field of snow . Fantastic.
Lovely quilt, and pretty fabrics~
I do believe that was made for me. The fabrics are to die for and I love log cabins. Yummy quilt.
So pretty! Lovely job.
I love just about any log cabin quilt and yours hits my fancy particularly well! Love the colors! I think the block is forgiving and that's what makes these such interesting quilts.
