Caledonia Quilt Guild Garden of Quilts Show 2013 Part 1
10 Attachment(s)
These are pictures from the show in Caledonia, NY, in mid August. I didn't see any other posts for this show.
I will post three parts, so loading isn't so slow for those of us with fussy PCs. The colors on the southwest quilt (first picture) are a bit off. It isn't so purple in reality. The International Sunbonnet Sues were so cute! |

Some of the quilts from this show were also at the RIT show in June, and then the United Methodist Church of North Chili show in September.

More quilts from the Caledonia, NY show in mid-August.
Sorry for mixing up my pictures, the first one here is a close-up from the last quilt in this group. The second quilt pictured here kept calling to me from across the room!!! I guess I like browns! It would look great in my camper. The Brown/black quilt following the brown one was absolutely striking, although it doesn't appear that way in the photo. It definitely goes on my "to do" list (some day). |
My oh my! Glorious!! I agree re the international SunBonnet Sues! Does anyone know the name of the pattern for 4,5,6?

I thought the basketball court idea was very original.
Notice the crocheted lace on the tea table. |

More quilts from the Caledonia show in mid-August.
I know I posted the heron quilt a few years ago, when it was shown at the NCQS show. The quilter runs our LQS, Chestnut Bay Quilting, in Caledonia, NY. She's such an artist! The eighth quilt pictured here is comprised of all hand-dyed fabrics. The quilter sells her fabrics at other shows. |
Thanks for the eye candy!
