I was at a quilt show yesterday and saw this quilt - there was no pattern listed on the quilt - up close it looked like log cabin squares of different sizes (almost like a bargello with small and larger pieces) - anyway it was all square edges but made this really cool design that looks like curves - I really love this - does anyone know what this is?

No - I looked at it up close - it was definetly pieced and the blocks were log cabin blocks - just different sized log cabin blocks. I really like the swirly aspect of the quilt.

Wow -- I don't know the pattern but if that was pieced it was a lot of work. Great looking quilt.

It is a beauty of a quilt. I have no clue about the pattern.

It's an uneven log cabin, but I have not seen it used like that before.

I don't know this exact pattern. It is very pretty. There is a book out by marti mitchell called, "Creating Curves with Log Cabins", that might steer you in the right direction to make one of your own. It is ISBN:0-88195-832-8
