to me it looks like 4 signature blocks in an X pattern.

I reminds me of the String X pattern by Bonnie at quiltville.com....but without the scrap strings.... and with each block being smaller.....http://www.quiltville.com/stringx.shtml

I can't help you with the block, but the picture is great, love the bed and dresser,and the pretty young lady sitting on the bed...good luck in your search, I am sure someone on the board can help you...

It looks like the lattice quilt block to me.

Having said that, I think Ripped with Scotch is right. Looks more like
the signature block.

I think you are right. This does indeed look more like it than the Kansas Dugout although they were similar. And the size seems appropriate too.
