I hope the fabric shows up.

How many yards do you have? I always used 8 repeats
|
I'm sure you could but because of the size of the squares you would probably need a large amount of fabric.

any other ideas? besides just squares |
I am sure someone will have a wonderful idea. You might really like a OBW or Stack and Whack, there just isn't enough variaion in color for me. There would be a lot of negative space.

Does your sister like florals? Batiks? I can see a floral log cabin with the Bulldog squares replacing some of the blocks. A friend just made a sampler quit with some of the blocks just a large flower. It was very pretty, though normally I'm not a sampler fan. The large blocks (your Bulldogs) gave my eyes somewher to go.
If you cut this up, you'll loss the specialness of the fabric if she is a fan of that team. |
You have an approximate 6" repeat - that would give you 6 per yard more or less. Determine you desired number of repeats 4, 6 or 8. Cut a 12" strip that long lengthwise, and cut crosswise, stack & cut.
You probably will not see the logos |
