I personally think its better to give a throw size!

If I am not sure whether a bed sized quilt will be used I make a wall hanging or a throw quilt as a gift.

My first thought a well. Why Not! Go for it!

Absolutely! Make and give what YOU wish and what you think is just right for the bride and groom.

A throw is much more versatile and more likely to be used.

My how cozy that would be. They can use it by the fire place or snuggled up on the couch to watch a favorite movie. As years go by they might even want to lay it on the floor and sit with a little one. That quilt will have lots of memories.

It is your gift to give. Give them what you want them to have.

Seems all the wedding quilts I see posted are bed sized. Just wondering if. Throw size can be appropriate for a wedding gift? My machine is a bit small to quilt anything too large and I would want to make the whole gift rather than have someone else quilt it. Thanks

I have finished and sent off two throw size quilts to my two GD's for wedding gifts!
They were manageable on my DSM. Still waiting to here from the girls:)

Why not make a picnic quilt and add a matching picnic tote. Picnics are very romantic.
