I think the baby will have loads of fun picking out the colors. Great job keep going.

I think its pretty! The flowers and lacy looking fabric make it girlie. Besides she will likely end up with tons of pink and maybe purple too. Its nice to have something not so pinky when you have a girl. I LOVE the red white and blue theme you are going with! Keep going...I think it will be loved!!

Babies see contrast so baby will be interested in this quilt

I like it. My mom always put red in baby quilts. she said it draws the eye. I tried it and sure enough my grand daughter would reach her finger out and try to touch the color. She also learned her colors with it.It was a shadow quilt with lots of colors on one side.

I make baby quilts that don't look baby-ish. As long as there are girl colors in it, it will be fine for a girl. If there are more boy colors in it, you can girly it up with girly colored sashing, borders or scallops!

I try not to make quilts to "babyish" (unless requested) and a little bigger so that they can be used longer. They are usually big enough to be a throw on a youth bed. Kids love color. Go for it.

I think it will be a great quilt for a baby girl, I really liked the suggestion of a scalloped border, or maybe just rounded corners to soften it a bit for a little one.

It does look a little boyish right now, but that doesn't mean you should quit. A ruffle border and a few little girl bows in the corners(stitched down of course for baby safety) and issue solved. It's truel lovely.
