My Bleu Hors Matine was chosen for the National Juried show at Quilt Canada!!!!
I can't tell you how exciting it is to have been chosen to be displayed at the National show!!!
My hands are shaking!

Congratulations Watson!! This is huge (and well deserved) and I hope you will be able to attend the show to see it hanging in person, hopefully with a ribbon! But even if it doesn't ribbon it is still a major accomplishment to get juried in as a semi-finalist and there is nothing quite like seeing your quilt hanging in a major show venue and it is always great fun to chat with other spectators about your art. Please make sure you post a pic of it hanging in the show, that is if you are able to attend in person.

It is June 14-17 in Toronto and yes, I am going with a bus trip with my quilt guild, so I will be able to see it hanging.

Watson, I am so happy for you! I remember seeing your quilt when you posted it before. I looked at it for a long time because it is so interesting designed and made. It is simply stunning. I am sad for me because we had been scheduled to be in Canada at that time. However, our DIL changed plans and we are now going in August. Bummer! Going to that quilt show is on my "To Do" list. But, not this year. I wish you good luck and hope you win a ribbon. Please show us some of the quilts from that show.

As Lisa's Mom I know (well maybe I don't) the hours spent making this quilt - even finding the material for this quilt was an adventure. The honor of being accepted to the Show is well deserved!!
