That is so great for you to do this... love the colors too.

quiltlady37 01-19-2011 08:53 AM

That was a really nice thing to do. Our quilt club made a quilt when one of our members was going through chemo for breast cancer. She cried when we gave it to her and she said she used it every time.

It's beautiful! What a wonderful thing to have while enduring those treatments...you are so kind!

i really did not have a choice. I think the Lord wanted me to do this. i would wake up in the night with this on my mind. Ikept saying " no i have other quilts to do first" actually 4 that are waiting to be quilted, but this just would not go away. So i said ok i'll do it and you know it went together without anything going wrong. I was very happy with it and her hubby said she took it with her to chemo

What we can accomplish with love and a few prayers !!

A beautiful quilt for a very special lady. I'm sure she really loves this quilt as she is going through a very difficult time in her life. When my neighbor had to do her treatments, I would drive her to the hospital for them so her husband could continue to work. I know she will appreciate her very special quilt.

Maggiemay 01-19-2011 02:47 PM
