Candle Advent Wall Hanging / Table Runner
 

I made this wall hanging/table runner to help test a pattern. I used scraps from Christmas quilts I made my husbands five siblings just after my sweet MotherInLaw passed. The purple pictured is the original. (I like mine.) I added more holly leaves and the berries, which I made from yoyo's with button centers that had been my MIL's. I had some fun with my free motion practice too!

I sure do like this runner. I like the traditional colors best. Those are my favorite colors.

I think the original is more like what used to be standard colors for Advent, at least when I was younger. Yours is pretty, too.

Sheri, did you make yours as a paper piece method, as shown on the Craftsy website? This is a very nice pattern, the more I look at it, the more I like it. I really do like your color choices, it can be done in various color-ways and would be very pretty. This would always be a good choice for a gift for somebody, or I'm thinking it would be great for a church bazaar silent auction item. Thank You very much for showing this to us.
