My thoughts were- to have a light background so my colorful butterflys show up better, making them the center of interest. My choice for the sunflowers were to add minumal color in the border, but not take over the butterfly blocks. :D |

Nature says everything goes with green but I like your light brown on this one.

I also like the green background but not the borders. Notice the white reflected surface in the photos above the top of the quilt, it shows you how nice a white boarder would tie in with the white butterfly backgrounds, and would provide a nice space for prominent quilting.

I think the pale green highlights the blocks better than the other.

A second thought, I think I'd trial the dark green fabric as a narrow frame around each the white butterfly blocks, then use a white boarder, and the sunflower fabric as the backing/binding.

Green --- doesn't take away from the design of the blocks! (pretty blocks!!!)
