I prefer this setting to on point; if you set it on point all your diagonal rows become straight lines and it sort of defeats the purpose. The colors are perfect - masculine but not boring.
Me too. More years ago than I care to count, my art teachers pointed out that diagonals are always more interesting and dynamic than horizontals & verticals. Great quilt, and a pattern that I may steal. How big are the squares? 2 inches?
