Steal away :-) if you google or look up Carolina Chain, you will find a link to a free pattern. It’s made from rectangles and sqauares. I was in a hurry, so I used 2.5 squares and 4.5x2.5 rectangles. I believe the pattern was designed with 2 inch strips or scraps.

I like that BH pattern, and using a straight setting instead of on point changes the whole thing! I love it!! Well done!

I really like the look of this quilt. It has so much interest, the neutrals, the addition of just enough color, the setting. Very nice and, I think, manly but not overpowering. And, thank you for the information about the name of the pattern.

Love the colors in this one and your borders (so simple) - and I agree not to put it on point - it makes for wonky, twisted squares unless you're a real expert . . . which I am not!
