Very pretty. Great job.

Don't worry about the points. Your friend will only remember that you made it for her. She won't even see them.
God bless you! You have a big heart. |
Love those colors

lovely quilt, and lovely sentiment going into it. i wish your friend all the very best! i have yet to make a carpenter's star, but will since i find them so attractive. don't worry about your points, like any skill they improve with practice. but if you discover they just won't behave for you, kaye woods has some very nice patterns for 'pointless quilters'! see? there's room for everyone!

I like the single ribbon, makes a statement, makes you pay attention. Good friend are you to do this for her. Hope sh does well will keep her in my thoughts.

I don't think that perfect points is the real focus for this one. Love, caring, wishes for a full recovery would be the main theme here and you nailed it. Good for you. It's a beautiful quilt.

This is one I want to someday do...yours is beautiful.

If your friend was recently diagnosed , and is facing chemo and radiation, the quilt will be a welcome gift to take with her for treatments. After treatment the patients are cold and just want to snuggle in and be warm.
