Yes, I never thought of that. But it sure could be. I have thought to use it for toting my quilting, crocheting, and other needlework around when I visit with friends.

TFQuilter-the pattern I have is see&sew # B5448. However, your bag will not look like mine. I made adjustments to the pattern because I thought it was too small for a carry on. I enlarged it top to bottom as well as side to side. I also made the black & white one on the front of the pattern for my daughter. She loved it.

BEAUTIFUL BAG! Please be careful in Jamaica. Lots of crime there. If you make it to Ocho Rios, be sure to go to the Dunns River Falls. It is magnificent.

thank you for the compliments on my bag. My trip was end of Feb through the first week of March. We had an absolutely wonderful time. I have never had a vacation so my daughter took me to Jamaica. Yes, we did Dunn River!!! What a wonderful time. The same day, before our Dunn River climb we went zip lining through the jungle. THAT was sooooo much fun. We have pics of both. Wonderful time, wonderful memories with my daughter. Thank you all for the compliments.
