Just finished this quilt from a kit I purchased over 10 years ago. It is much smaller than it was supposed to be because I had misread the instructions and had cut several squares too small from the first color. So I had to reduce everything down which resulted with a much smaller quilt. It was the first time I had ever made a pieced binding. I had enough scraps to make a pillow sham and mug rug.

Whoa, that gorgeous!! I love the gredations of color and the 3D look. It looks like a piecing challenge. And your pillow sham and mug rug are eye-popping pretty as well. Your sewing room is a dream space, which I'm sure you are pleased as punch with.

Beautiful!!! Your binding is fantastic too!

That turned out very pretty. I like it! The pieced binding really finishes off the whole quilt and makes it look fabulous.

Just to clear things up about my sewing room. Several people have commented about my sewing room in the picture. Unfortunately the room in the picture is not my sewing room. I live in a "snowbird" RV resort in Florida in the winter. The room in the picture is the clubhouse where many different activities are held. On Thursdays we have a quilting bee where anyone in our park interested in quilting can come and get help with projects , help others with theirs, or just observe what others are working on, or work on their own projects. The picture was taken on the last "bee" of the season, as most "snowbirds" are preparing to head back home in the north. Thanks all for all of the comments.
