I think just a binding in the lightest fabric would set off the darker hues

Wow - that is just gorgeous! A great mix of blues with light & movement to them...great job. I would think almost any of the fabrics would make a great border(s), so just lay some out and see what strikes you. :D

I'd opt for the darkest blue for the border. Sigh. I always do. Look how great the lightest lights look right next to the dark squares on that center diagonal. They're GLOWING. I think a nice wide dark border will just make the whole center sparkle. It's like midnight. However, conversely, if you used the lightest light on the border, you'd get a whole North Pole frigid feel to it. Which could be very interesting.
