twospoiledhuskies 02-15-2011 05:52 PM

Mine, too. Since my sewing cabinet backs up to the back of the couch, my cat tries to help. She lays there, and helps pull the fabric through as it stitches. I have to watch her, and make sure she doesn't get too close to the presser foot, as I don't want her to make contact with the needle, for sure.

emerald46 02-15-2011 06:27 PM

They look quite at home!

sueisallaboutquilts 02-15-2011 07:20 PM

She looks like she's on a THRONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! lolololol :D
Ahhh, she's a cutie!! :D:D

anniec55 02-15-2011 07:55 PM

We are all such good subjects to our royalty to quilt for them!!

quiltpd 02-15-2011 08:30 PM

Cat hair - another layer of insulation! Kitties sure do love quilts.

indycatcarol 02-15-2011 08:40 PM

The picture I posted on pg. 1 of my cat, I usually don't let my cats on customer quilts but she looked so cute on this one that I had to take a picture. I'm glad I did. She was in failing health and 3 mos. later I had to put her to sleep at the age of 21. She was a Maine Coon. So this was my last picture of her.

GladGrams 02-16-2011 04:21 AM

She appears to me to finally consider herself appropriately provided for. She is a LADY

JoyjoyMarie 02-16-2011 04:29 AM

Now we know that Gracie has great taste in beds- only the best for her!

quilt3311 02-16-2011 05:25 AM

Awwww! "Its MY quilt--go away" Looks like something my four legged kid will do any time she gets a chance.

eiltcoq 02-16-2011 05:30 AM

Jlm, Gracie thinks the quilt is hers! Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.

sandpat 02-16-2011 06:46 AM

She is just applying that "Cat hair patina" so that it will get quilted in...

*she is beautiful*!

donnaree59 02-16-2011 07:03 AM

It's amazing how easily they find the quilts we are working on but refuse to sleep on the ones we lay down for them...or at least that is what my 23 pound furbaby does....

pkelly1947 02-16-2011 07:24 AM

Gracie has to inspect & approve, just like most of our pets!!

LETIA 02-16-2011 08:10 AM

is beautiful!!!!

jgriinke 02-16-2011 08:54 AM

I just love the look on your cat's face!!
My cat always finds my quilts to lay on. One of these days, it's going to get ugly at my house when I'm trying to cut something out and she decides SHE NEEDS to lay right on the fabric I'm trying to cut. She just has to swish her tail in front of the rotary cutter. So, far, we've been lucky that I pay enough attention to her moving tail and hold it out of the way.

Aww, it is so hard to lose a furbaby. I know. But she is at the bridge, and will be with you again. Hugs and more hugs.

This is the only time I found Patches on a quilt, other than her own.

I took a break & came back to this.

Me, too. All I have to do is turn around and my cat is on whatever I am working on. I am forever moving her. What a pest.

Linda - K. 02-16-2011 02:16 PM
